2009 REU Program
We are pleased to announce the American Student Placement and Internships in Rehabilitation Engineering (ASPIRE) and Quality of Life Technology (QoLT) Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) at the University of Pittsburgh/Human Engineering Research Laboratories. The ASPIRE/QoLT REU is a ten week program running May 26 through July 31, 2009. The research experience is supplemented by workshops, lecture series, and field trips. A stipend is provided, along with financial assistance for travel, and housing on the University of Pittsburgh’s campus is available. Additional information along with a program application is available through the ASPIRE/QoLT REU website. Application deadline is February 15, 2009.
The program recruits students from the following backgrounds: engineering, computer science, rehabilitation science, and other physical sciences. We encourage students to submit their applications electronically as soon as possible to better ensure they are placed in their specific research area of interest.
Please do not hesitate to contact Mary Goldberg with any questions about the ASPIRE/QoLT REU program or the University of Pittsburgh/Human Engineering Research Laboratories.
