Mission Statement We, the Carnegie Mellon University Police, exist to provide quality police and security service to all people within our jurisdiction with respect, fairness and compassion. We are committed to the enhancement of the quality of life by providing a safe and secure environment; the enforcement of all laws and university regulations; the prevention and detection of crime, and the apprehension and prosecution of violators; to continually improve the professional operations of our department; to seek the support of the entire community; and to support the mission of the university.
