Hunt

Sgt. Terry Hunt

Sgt. C. Terry Hunt served twenty-five years as a Trooper with the Pennsylvania State Police. He served with the Patrol Unit, Criminal Investigations unit, Community Service unit and as the Public Information Officer in Allegheny County. Sgt. Hunt retired from the Pennsylvania State Police in 2000.

Sgt. Hunt began his second career as a Sergeant at Carnegie Mellon University Police Department. Hunt began his service with the University in 2002, and retired in 2006. During his tenure he supervised the CMUPD Crime Prevention Programs, Police Officers, Guards, Dispatchers and Shuttle/Escort Drivers. Sgt. Hunt re-joined the CMUPD staff in 2010.  

Sgt. Hunt has attended various educational programs at local colleges and Universities. These include degree programs at the University of Pittsburgh, Penn State University and Community College of Allegheny County. Sgt. Hunt has also attended various Criminal Investigation, Crime Scene Preservation, and Gang Recognition training programs throughout his 30 year career in Law Enforcement.
