Screenwriter Marque Franklin-Williams

Marque Franklin-Williams is a second year graduate student and undergraduate Screenwriting instructor at Carnegie Mellon University. His teleplays "The End of an Era...Seriously," and "Training File #217-C" have been produced for and broadcasted on WQED, Pittsburgh public access. He has had readings of his feature-length screenplays, "A Quiet Shot," "The Legend of Sir Awesome," and "Recognizing Morgan" and has received the Family Friendly Scholarship Award for his Pushing Daisies spec script, "Ballet." His new jazz musical, "Neon City," was first produced at Carnegie Mellon University, selling out within six minutes.

Marque earned an undergraduate degree in Communications from the University of Pennsylvania, along with a minor in Creative Writing.

He hails from Boston, Massachusetts and his favorite dessert is pie.
