Take a Virtual Tour of Randy Pausch's Famous Childhood Room

Four years ago this past Sunday (Sept. 18, 2007) Carnegie Mellon professor and alum Randy Pausch delivered a one-of-a-kind last lecture after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and given just months to live. His lecture about how to live your life became an Internet sensation and the basis for a best-selling book co-authored by Pausch and Wall Street Journal columnist and CMU alum Jeffrey Zaslow

During the lecture, he told of how his parents allowed him to paint his room when he was a child — inspiring countless parents to do the same. Now take a virtual tour of Randy's childhood room, narrated by his sister, Tammy Pausch Mason, and check out the Gigapan panaroma and the accompanying snapshots that allow you to explore his room in amazing detail.
