Casey Studer, Statistics

1st yr PIER and Statistics

Casey received her BA in statistics and BS in applied math from the University of Rochester in 2006.  In 2007, she received her master’s in statistics from Carnegie Mellon University.  She is currently a 5th year in the statistics program and just recently became interested in education statistics.  She is working toward a thesis which extends cognitive assessment models to include the effects of students learning over time.  After participating at a non-formal level, she is excited to become an official part of the PIER program this year.
