Prior to this position, she was Assistant VP and Assistant General Counsel for CMU, after moving from the University of Pittsburgh where she supported the Office of Research in her role as Associate General Counsel. Linda also has a M.B.A. from the Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh.

Lynn joined the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) as a Contracts Officer in 1998 and was promoted to Contracts Manager in 2002. Lynn previously worked as a business manager for the University Center for International Studies at the University of Pittsburgh for twelve years. As Contracts Manager, Lynn is actively involved with all aspects of the development and negotiation of the University’s research agreements as well as oversight of the contract personnel. Lynn holds a BA in Foreign Language and International Trade from Eastern Michigan University and a MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.

Amanda joined OSP in August 2013. She is responsible for processing submissions and awards related to the NSF and NIH. Prior to joining the OSP staff Amanda was with the University of Pittsburgh where she acquired more than 13 years of experience with research grants.

Previous to that she spent 8 years as an adjunct professor of environmental engineering at Washington University in St. Louis. Prior to that she was the water quality manager for a drinking water authority in the Philadelphia area. She received her BS in Biology from Rutgers University and MS in Environmental Science from Drexel University.

Greg joined the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) in August of 2014. Prior to joining Carnegie Mellon, Greg spent four years as a research program manager in the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry where he was responsible for a program of research projects sponsored by the National Institutes of Health and managed a federally funded research training consortium for early career scientists. Greg graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in political science.

Email: email@example.comMatt joined the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) in 2000. Matt previously worked as an Environmental Consultant for the Department of Defense/Department of Navy. As a Contracts Officer Matt has been involved with the development and negotiation of many types of agreements pertaining to Sponsored Research. Matt has advanced degrees in Public Health and Public Management. Matt is an avid sports fan and enjoys travelling with his wife and two daughters.

She currently is responsible for issuing Subcontracts and Professional Service Agreements under both Federal and Non-Federal grants and contracts. Prior to her role as Subcontracts Administrator, Kristen was a Senior Pre-Award Administrator and oversaw the federal proposal submission process as well as federal pre-award administration. Kristen has a B.S.B.A in Accounting from Slippery Rock University.

Jeff Abels, a member of the Office of Sponsored Projects (OSP) since 2007, left his role as subcontracts administrator in the Spring of 2013 to lead OSP in the implementation of Carnegie Mellon University's new Sponsored Projects and Research Compliance System (SPARCS) electronic system. Jeff has been involved with academic research administration for over 18 years including holding positions in pre- and post-award central administration as well as acting as a campus business manager. Jeff received his graduate degree from the Heinz College in the Spring of 2013.

Prior to joining the team, Roger worked for LG Electronics for over 10 years providing training and technical support to consumers and retailers throughout the United States. Roger is a recent transplant to Pittsburgh area moving from the north Alabama area. He received his B.S. degree from the University of Tennessee.
