July 2012

July 17 through July 20, 2012: Shaw Festival Theater, Niagara-on-the-Lake

Join us for a four-day, three-night trip to Shaw Festival held at Niagara-on-the-Lake. The Shaw Festival is a world-class Ontario theatre group located at the mouth of the mighty Niagara River and Lake Ontario in a quaint little town, Niagara-on-the-Lake and produces the works of George Bernard Shaw and Shavian playwrights. The town has retained its 19th-century charm and is truly a wonderful place to visit. Along with the reputation as being “the prettiest town in Canada,” it is also one of the most fascinating historically. Lodging is at the magnificent Prince of Wales Hotel located directly on Queen Street. Note a passport is required for this trip. View the event flyer for more details

Be a part of this exciting community for the Week #9 Lecture Series, “The Presidents’ Club.” Our trip includes four nights lodging at the Athenaeum Hotel, all meals, five day gate pass providing access to all lectures, meetings, and social events. The lecture series asks: With the presidency a singular position that only those who have occupied the White House can understand, relationships between current and former presidents cross political boundaries. How do they relate to each other? Where are the boundaries? View the event flyer for more details
