There is currently no fee for our workshop because we receive funding from The
William and Flora Hewlett Foundation that supports the workshop, but travel and lodging expenses
are up to you.
We do have a limited number of travel support stipends.
For those who elect to participate in our ongoing evaluation effort, a limited number of $500.00-$1,000.00 fellowships are available.
The OLI project is fully committed to a rigorous evaluation that intends to describe the nature of student learning and document the process of development and implementation of online courses. We are creating a community of use for the courses that may provide authentically detailed information upon which to structure new courses and improve their pedagogical potential. We would like you to share your experience and that of your students with using the OLI courseware. Ultimately, we would like to produce a “Casebook of OLI Courses” that would serve as a record of OLI courses as they were given in varied environments. We would also like to conduct comparison studies.
