OLI Project Funding

In addition to the generous support of The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, many of the OLI courses and course components have been developed with the support of the following sources:

Chemistry

Development of the virtual chemistry lab is supported by the National Science Foundation through the Course, Curriculum and Laboratory Improvement program and the National Science Digital Library

Logic

The logic course has been developed as part of the AProS Project and has received support from the Buhl Foundation and the National Science Foundation, as well as from the Department of Philosophy and Carnegie Mellon. Currently, the project is supported by National Science Foundation grant 0618806 (Mathematical Science Division, CCLI - Expansion Projects) and Carnegie Mellon Qatar.

Physics

The Andes physics tutor was developed at the University of Pittsburgh and the United States Naval Academy with support from the Cognitive Science Program of the Office of Naval Research.
