Chris Menand

Christine Menand is the Assistant Director for Study Abroad and Exchange Programs for Carnegie Mellon University. She works with students in CFA, MCS, CIT, and Incoming International Exchange Students on study abroad, research and internships abroad, as well as with international student exchange relationships. Chris is also a volunteer member of NAFSA's Consular Affairs Liaison (CAL) team, joining the group shortly after it was founded. Prior to joining Carnegie Mellon University, Chris was employed for seven years in Minneapolis at the University of St. Thomas College of Business. The majority of her time there was spent working with the Master of International Management (MIM) program. Some of her responsibilities there included overseeing MIM's international cohort agreements with Taiwan, Canada, and Greece, advising domestic and international students, and providing faculty services. Chris has corporate experience also working for the Center for International Business and Travel in Washington, DC and New York City.

Chris received her Masters from University College London's, School of Slavonic and East European Studies and her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Richmond.

Chris truly enjoys her work at Carnegie Mellon, having the opportunity to collaborate with students, faculty and administrators across the globe!
