Mission Statement:

...to develop Midshipmen morally, mentally, and physically and to instill in them the highest ideals of duty, honor, and loyalty in order to provide high caliber unrestricted line, Marine Corps and Nurse Corps officers who are prepared to lead Sailors and Marines in the operational forces of the United States Navy and Marine Corps.

Spring 2008 Objectives:

1. To identify by mid-February, 100% of those midshipmen who are in danger of failing a course and direct them to the resources needed to maximize their potential for success.

2. To have 100% of the unit pass the Spring PFA/PFT with a minimum score of Good Low/225; and to have at least 95% achieve a score of Excellent Low/250.

3. To engage in 3 JROTC related events by the end of the semester.

4. To have 100% of the unit participate in at least 1 community service activity by the end of the semester.

5. To award 2 Tweeddale Scholarships this semester to non-NROTC students majoring in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or Mathematics.
