Mission Statement:
...to develop Midshipmen morally, mentally, and physically and to instill in them the highest ideals of duty, honor, and loyalty in order to provide high caliber unrestricted line, Marine Corps and Nurse Corps officers who are prepared to lead Sailors and Marines in the operational forces of the United States Navy and Marine Corps.
Fall 2008 Objectives:
1. To have 100% of the battalion achieving at least a 2.0 GPA, to have 95% achieve at least a 2.5 GPA, and to give all Midshipmen the necessary resources to meet their full potential.
2. To have 100% of the battalion pass the PFA/PFT with a minimum score of Good Low/225; and to have at least 80% achieve a score of Excellent Low/250.
3. To participate in two joint operation events with our fellow Pittsburgh ROTC programs. This will prepare our midshipmen to joint operation assignments that they will likely be assigned to during their career.
4. To raise $12,500 for our unit SOP fund by taking part in various fundraising activities. This will allow the unit to fund events such as Naval Ball, Dining In, and other battalion events which provides entertainment to our Midshipmen.
