The Pittsburgh NMR Center for Biomedical Research is located on the first floor of the historical Mellon Institute building on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University. For directions to the facility, click here.
The NMR Center features high-powered MRI magnets and MRS spectrometers.
MRI equipment at the Center include:
- Bruker Avance 4.7-T/40-cm MRI scanner
- Bruker AVANCE DRX 7.0-Tesla/20-cm MRI scanner
- Bruker AVANCE 500WB 11.7-Tesla/8.9-cm MRI scanner
MRS equipment at the Center include:
- Bruker MiniSpec 0.47 Tesla
- High Resolution NMR Spectrometers: 7.0-Tesla, 11.7-Tesla, 14.0-Tesla
