The Office of Media Relations offers assistance to print, broadcast and online media. Our staff can connect reporters with faculty experts, assist news crews with shooting on campus, arrange video and radio feeds, or help members of the media locate archived photos, news stories and press releases.

Carnegie Mellon University's Television Studio
National and international broadcast TV outlets can now connect to any Carnegie Mellon University expert thanks to the school's new TV studio. Located on CMU's campus in Pittsburgh, the state-of-the-art facility provides outlets with easy access to the school's many experts in a variety of fields, ranging from technology and business to the environment, international relations and public policy issues.
Working with Pittsburgh International Telecommunications (PIT), the CMU studio offers both satellite and fiber connectivity. A telecommunications leader for more than 20 years, PIT owns and operates one of the largest satellite facilities in the world, forged by long term contracts with corporations, the U.S. government and nearly all the domestic broadcasting companies.
