She also works on building library collections, and copyright, intellectual property and scholarly communication.

Gabrielle Michalek's expertise includes Organization and dissemination of archives, particularly digital archives.

She also is an expert on preservation of archival and museum collections.

Gloriana St. Clair's expertise includes issues of scholarly communication in the academy.

She also is building the digital future through initiatives such as the Universal Library and the Million Book Project.

Martin Aurand is an architecture librarian and architecture archivist with expertise in CMU Architecture Archives, a repository of architectural records documenting the architects and architecture of the Carnegie Mellon campus, Pittsburgh and southwestern Pennsylvania. 

He is the head of the Arts Library and Special Collections.
