All the cool kids are doing it
A couple of us spent the weekend at the National Association of Science Writers (
NASW) Science in Society conference in Baltimore. (A lovely city, I might add.) During a workshop on new media, several science writers discussed their embrace of blogs, including Carl Zimmer, whose blog is called
The Loom; and Chris Mooney, who said that his book "The Republican War on Science" began life as a blog. (Mooney's blog is called
The Intersection.) I also learned that Nature has several blogs which you can find
here.
