Dollar Campaign Helps Haiti
In response to the catastrophic earthquake that occurred in Haiti, Carnegie Mellon's Division of Student Affairs, Student Government and student organizations across campus are working together to raise money for relief efforts. One such effort is the Helping Haiti Dollar Campaign, which will kick off at tonight's Winter Gala for students. The Dollar Campaign's goal is to collect at least one dollar from every student, staff and faculty member at the university, which potentially could yield more than $16,000.
Beginning Monday, student organizations will be accepting donations at various locations across campus throughout next week. Collection tables will be at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day events in the University Center. Updates regarding additional relief efforts will be posted on this News Blog site. Thank you for your support and generosity.
