Short Course Focuses On India
As global citizens, students need to have a working knowledge of other countries that are important in shaping the corporate, social and political world. As a rising state in the world economy, India’s status in business and world affairs is shifting. With that in mind, Carnegie Mellon and the University of Pittsburgh are offering an in-depth three-day course on the Indian subcontinent.
The course, “INDIA Today: Industry, Innovation and Education” will be offered from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2 on the Carnegie Mellon and University of Pittsburgh campuses. The three-day program will have a variety of sessions from professors and presenters and will serve as a pilot for a series of “country focused short courses.”
Students and communities members are welcome to attend all or part of the program. To register or for a schedule of sessions, visit http://cms-staging.andrew.cmu.edu/india-today/index.html.
