Randy Pausch, professor of computer science, will appear on an episode of the Oprah Winfrey Show now scheduled to air at 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22. (In Pittsburgh, the show airs on WTAE-TV, Channel 4.) In his segment of the show, Pausch, who has terminal pancreatic cancer, will reprise a portion of his lecture, “Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams”, which has been viewed by more than 1.2 million people on the Internet since he presented it Sept. 18 at McConomy Auditorium. Pausch also discusses his life, philosophy and his condition with Oprah and Dr. Mehmet Oz during the segment.
