Discuss Development of Energy Technology at Carnegie Mellon
PITTSBURGH—Carnegie Mellon University and the Pittsburgh Technology Council will host Carlos Gutierrez, the United States Secretary of Commerce, and area business leaders on Monday, Sept. 22, as they discuss “Drivers and Impediments to the Development of Energy Technology” at a CEO Forum on Innovation. The forum will begin at 10:45 a.m. in the Helen Wayne Rauh Studio Theater in the Purnell Center for the Arts at Carnegie Mellon.
In addition to Gutierrez, panelists will include Aris Candris, president and chief executive officer of Westinghouse Electric Company; Murry S. Gerber, chairman and chief executive officer of Equitable Resources, Inc.; and Andrew W. Hannah, president and chief executive officer of Plextronics, Inc.
Audrey Russo, president and chief executive officer of the Pittsburgh Technology Council, and Jared L. Cohon, president of Carnegie Mellon, will provide the welcome and introductions.
