Jerome Bettis To Help Kick Off National Toys For Tots Drive

Event: Carnegie Mellon University engineering students will kick off their annual U.S. Marine Corps "Toys for Tots" holiday campaign with former Steelers running back Jerome Bettis. The student toy drive, dubbed "Stuff the Bus," is expected to raise more than $1,000 to help purchase toys for needy children. Students will collect toys with the assistance of Carnegie Mellon's University Police who will take the toys to local Marine Corps reserve units for distribution nationwide.

"Toys for Tots" was established in 1947 by the U.S. Marine Corps to help less-fortunate children during the holiday season.
