Randy Pausch To Appear on "Oprah"
Carnegie Mellon Professor Randy Pausch is scheduled to appear on the "Oprah Winfrey Show" on Monday, Oct. 22. In his segment of the show, Pausch, who has terminal pancreatic cancer, will reprise a portion of the lecture he recently delivered on campus, titled "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams".
The video of Pausch's Sept. 18 lecture has been viewed online by more than 1.2 million people. During the Monday segment, Randy will also discuss his life, philosophy and his condition with Oprah and Dr. Mehmet Oz.
Check your local listings for the broadcast's time and channel information. In Pittsburgh, the show airs at 4 p.m. on the ABC affiliate, WTAE-TV.
