Media Advisory: Carnegie Mellon's Heinz School Hosts Federal Career Day, Nov. 15
EVENT: Carnegie Mellon University's H. John Heinz III School of Public Policy and Management will host the fifth annual Pittsburgh Federal Career Day, which includes representatives from approximately 80 federal agencies. The event will feature keynote speaker Ray Morrow, special agent in charge of the FBI Pittsburgh Division; breakout sessions on federal internships and the federal application process; and career panels in technology, health and law. Agency information sessions will take place immediately following the job fair. The event is open to students and alumni from southwestern Pennsylvania colleges and universities and the general public. The fair is co-sponsored by a consortium of 11 professional schools and programs within Carnegie Mellon, Duquesne University and the University of Pittsburgh. It is underwritten by a grant from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management and is organized in conjunction with the Pittsburgh Federal Executive Board and the Washington, D.C.-based Partnership for Public Service.
