Hire current MPD students
If you are looking to hire current MPD students, they will be available for internships and/or full-time opportunities, following graduation in May. There are several ways to get to know them, see below.
Request the MPD Resume Book
Each Spring we publish an "MPD Resume Book" for the current class. If you would like to receive one, please email your request to Melissa Cross.
Attend a Campus Career Fair
If you would like to meet and/or interview our current MPD students in person, we encourage you to attend one or more of our annual career fairs.
The Technical Opportunities Conference (TOC), Carnegie Mellon's largest career fair, focuses specifically on technical employment and takes place on campus each Fall. The TOC offers a great opportunity for companies and potential employees to make connections for both full-time and summer employment. The event is run by the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and supported by the Carnegie Institute of Technology (CIT). If you are interested in participating in the TOC, please register directly on the TOC website.
The Confluence Career Fair, co-organized by the School of Design and the Career & Professional Development Center, is specifically designed for undergraduate and graduate students in the School of Design. The two day event, each Spring, attracts design professionals from corporate, consulting and start-up environments to campus to meet faculty and students, tour studios, review portfolios and interview candidates for internships and full-time positions. If you are interested in participating in Confluence, please email Melissa Cross.
Hire MPD alumni
If you are looking to hire MPD alumni, please email Melissa Cross information about opportunities, positions, and desired qualifications and we will gladly share them with our alumni network. If our alumni are interested in the opportunity, they will contact you directly.
