The Master of Product Development Program - MPD
The one-year professional degree in innovation and design thinking takes advantage of Carnegie Mellon University's rich history in design, engineering, and pioneering work in the field of integrated product development.
The focus of the MPD degree is on the creation of products, services and interactive experiences that define new product opportunities that exceed user value expectations. The program excels at providing engineers, designers, and those in related fields, the skills and knowledge to become more accomplished practitioners, and leaders of the product development process.
Jointly offered by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, the School of Design, and the Tepper School of Business, all of which are leaders in their field, students are immersed in a truly interdisciplinary environment, at both the program and university level.
