Computational tribology modeling of artificial hip/knee joints

Artificial joints are unable to reproduce the non-contact lubrication condition of real hip/knee joints, and thus wear occurs. We’re working to understand and predict this problem using multiphysics tribological modeling and to cure the disease osteolysis.
