In situ self-replenishing solid/powder lubrication
In situ, self-replenishing solid lubrication is being performed on a pellet-on-disk with slider configuration. The PFTL has developed a specialized tribometer for measuring the tribological behavior of this process. Additionally, we are developing advanced modeling simulations for use in the design of next-generation in situ solid lubrication systems.
