lunar applicationGranular flow in rough shear cells

Granular flows are mixtures of inelastic grains that are have that highly nonlinear and complex behavior in rough shear cells. We’re trying to understand them for coal, agricultural, and space/lunar applications. DEM work is also done on this project by Prof. M. McCarthy.
