Professor Steve Collins and His Ph.D. Student, Josh Caputo, Published in the ASME Journal of Biomechanical Engineering
Congratulations to Assistant Professor Steve Collins and his Ph.D. student Josh Caputo on their recent publication in ASME's Journal of Biomechanical Engineering, A Universal Ankle-Foot Prothesis Emulator for Human Locomotion Experiments.
Collins runs the Experimental Biomechatronics Lab at CMU, where his team works to develop wearable robots that improve human mobility.
In January, Collins received funding through DARPA's Warrior Web Program to develop a knee-ankle exoskeleton testbed system in collaboration with Boston Dynamics, Ekso Bionics, and Simon Fraser University.
