M2M Forum Comes to CMU
The M2M Forum will be held in Pittsburgh this year from May 8-10. The kick-off event is a visit to Carnegie Mellon University with a site tour and research overview.
Attendees will have the opportunity to tour CMU MEMS research labs and interact with professors and graduate students. An introduction by Karen Lightman, managing director, MEMS Industry Group and Maarten de Boer, Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering will be followed by an overview of MEMS activities at CMU by Gary Fedder, Howard M. Wilkoff Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Professor of The Robotics Institute, and Director of the Institute for Complex Engineered Systems (ICES).
The M2M Forum is a one-of-a-kind technical conference, for MIG members, with a focus on tackling critical MEMS commercialization challenges. M2M Forum is a place for neutral discussion of pre-competitive issues affecting MEMS manufacturing.
