MechE Students Featured at CIT Innovation Showcase
At the CIT Engineering Showcase reception for National Engineers Week in Washington, D.C., Mechanical Engineering students had the opportunity to display their design projects and network with CIT alumni and congressional staff. The March 1 event, hosted by President Cohon, honored CIT's past, present, and future contributions to the field of engineering.
The participating students were: MechE's Bryan Bleda and Jake Flittner with their project Laptop Support; BME's Arianna Golden and MechE's Hahna Alexander with their project Shoe Energy Harvest; MechE's Marcia Solorzano and Asa Berg with their project Ankle Therapy; MechE's Josh Blosser, Guillermo Gomez, and Scott Kunz with their project Nitro Alcohol Freeze; ECE's Korey Haug and Jonathon Carreon with their project Night-Light Frisbee; and ECE's Nolan Hergert and Ben Shih with their project VR Precision Mapping.
