Department Head Nadine Aubry selected as Fellow of the AIAA
Nadine Aubry is among the 28 American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Fellows elected for 2012. AIAA Fellows are persons of distinction who have made notable and valuable contributions to the arts, sciences, or technology of aeronautics or astronautics. AIAA President Dr. Brian D. Dailey stated, “Being named a Fellow of AIAA is among the highest honors that can be bestowed upon an aerospace professional, and represents recognition from colleagues and peers for great contributions to our field and technical community.”
AIAA is the world's largest technical society dedicated to the global aerospace profession. With more than 36,000 individual members worldwide, and 90 corporate members, AIAA brings together industry, academia, and government to advance engineering and science in aviation, space, and defense.
Professor Aubry will be honored at the AIAA Aerospace Spotlight Awards Gala in May.
