Shimada Receives Sandia Engineering Award

Theodore Ahrens Professor of Mechanical Engineering, Kenji Shimada was recently awarded the 2011 International Meshing Roundtable (IMR) Fellow Award by Sandia National Labs for developing novel meshing software for the manufacturing industry. The Award was created this year, IMR's 20th anniversary, to "recognize an individual with a distinguished record of research accomplishments in the area of Mesh Generation." Read more here.
