ME Steinbrenner Recipient on CMU Homepage

Mechanical Engineering student Scott Schiffres was recognized in the Carnegie Mellon homepage story "Exploring the Unknown" as a 2010-2011  Steinbrenner Graduate Fellowship recipient.  The Steinbrenner Graduate Fellowship program was established to provide support to eligible graduate students across all seven colleges at CMU who are involved in environmentally-focused, interdisciplinary research projects on topics aligned with the strategic focus areas of the Steinbrenner Institute.  Scott is a Ph.D. student of Assistant Professor Jonathan Malen working on energy transportation technologies.
