Robinson Quoted on NPR Report
Mechanical Engineering professor Allen Robinson was quoted in a recent NPR report about the air quality concerns surrounding natural gas. In the report, Professor Robinson talks about the risks of air polution at the site of the gas extraction, as well as downwind. While the net reductions in emissions compared with coal-burning power plants could improve overall air quality, he cautions that benefits and risks should be weighed before proceeding.
