MCS Staff Awards, 2006

Pat Sudac, administrative coordinator at the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center, received the $200 MCS Rookie Award, given to a staff member employed three years or less at MCS. One staff member from each department was recognized with a $250 MCS Outstanding Achievement Award: Bob Greco, instrument specialist (Chemistry), Donna Thomas, secretary III (Physics), Kenneth Goodwin, production networking coordinator (Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center), Erin Martin Kratt, publications assistant (Biological Sciences), Ferna Hartman, departmental secretary (Mathematical Sciences) and Amy Pavlak, public relations specialist (MCS Dean’s Office). The Supercomputing Conference Exhibition Core Team—Vivian Benton, Janet Brown, Ken Goodwin, Ken Hackworth, John Kochmar, Clint Perrone and Stuart Pomerantz—received the $1,000 Merit Award, given to an MCS staff member or team for outstanding service.
