MCS students featured on "On Q"

MCS students will recount their ride aboard NASA's "Vomit Comet" on WQED’s "On Q" Friday, June 4, at 7:30 p.m., with repeats at 11:30 p.m. and the next Monday, June 7, at 12:30 p.m. The segment will feature interviews with James Torchia, Sujata Emani and Candace Spier as well as footage from their flight. As part of NASA's Reduced Gravity Student Flight Opportunities Program, the team tested how certain molecules inside cells respond to the extreme conditions, including weightlessness, experienced inside the KC-135A aircraft.
