Robert Dalmasse, laboratory technician in the Department of Chemistry, received the $1,000 Merit Award, given to an MCS staff member or team for outstanding service. Raymond Nardozzi, procurement agent with the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center, received the $200 MCS Rookie Award, given to a staff member employed three years or less at MCS. Stella Andreoletti, student programs coordinator in the Department of Mathematical Science, and Andrew Potratz, senior systems/software engineer in the Department of Chemistry, both received the $250 MCS Outstanding Achievement Award. Kathleen Bossick, library associate II at the Mellon Institute library, received the $400 Special Award, which acknowledges a staff member or team from outside MCS who has given special service to the college.
