Carnegie Mellon regularly honors faculty and graduate students for excellence in contributions to the educational mission of the university and colleges. Mellon College of Science faculty and graduate students have been recent recipients of awards such as Robert E. Doherty Award for Education Excellence, Carnegie Mellon’s highest educational honor. The Mellon College of Science also honors its best each year with the Julius Ashkin Award, the Richard Moore Education Award, the Hugh D. Young Graduate Student Teaching Award, and the Innovation in Education Award. National education awards are included here as well.
