Advice and Legal Sites for Online Content

Legal Advice

Carnegie Mellon does not represent students in legal suits or provide legal advice.  As a result, students may need to contact an attorney for advice or legal representation. The Division of Students Affairs can provide advice on whom to contact upon request.

Faculty and staff should contact the Office of General Council upon receiving a notice.

Legal Sites for Online Music

The Music United website provides online users with a list of sites where music can be legally download. Please visit the Legal Sites web page, from Music United at www.musicunited.org/6_legalsites.html , to access the list.
