Emily Syes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education for Museums and Cultural Institutions from The Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Education degree in Art Education from Carlow University. Her graduate thesis focused on the fear of failure as an inhibitor to student learning, creativity, and total success. She has worked for the National Building Museum in Washington DC, the Carnegie Science Center, and Sweetwater Center for the Arts. She is a member of the National Art Education Association, Pennsylvania Art Education Association, American Alliance of Museums, and National Association of Photoshop Professionals.
