TheaterMania University is Back in Session Featuring 10 New Student Bloggers from Around the Country

This month, TheaterMania University has published its newest blogs written by theater students for students interested in the theater. After completing a nationwide search, TheaterMania U selected 10 bloggers from New York University, University of Southern California, California State Long Beach, Northwestern and Carnegie Mellon University.
Each student will blog weekly or bi-weekly about various topics such as the business of theater, tips to being a healthy artist, interviews with theater professionals, and what to expect after graduation. Meet the Spring 2012 TheaterMania U student contributors!
Chelsea-Anne Cymrot is a junior at USC pursuing a BA in Theater with a minor in Cinematic Arts. Chelsea’s blog column is about the pulse of student theater at USC and what’s happening on and around campus.
Zach Kaufer is a junior at USC pursuing a BA in Theater. Zach is journaling his experiences directing and assistant directing two shows while also offering up tips and advice on what he has learned along the way while majoring in theater.
Franklin Bennett is a freshman at Northwestern pursuing a BA in Theater. Franklin’s blog compares his experiences in his hometown theater community of Colorado Springs, Colorado, with his experiences at Northwestern and in the much larger Chicago theater scene.
Emily Gibson is a sophomore at Carnegie Mellon University pursuing a BHA in Dramaturgy, History and English. Emily’s blog is about how she’s constantly learning through experiences as well discussing non-traditional theater, like interdisciplinary drama.
Darcy Coussens is a sophomore at Northwestern pursuing a BA in Theater. Darcy’s blog will cover the newest happenings in Chicago theater and what makes the theater scene at Northwestern cool and unique.
Tiffany Moon is a graduate student at California State Long Beach pursuing a MFA/MBA in Theater Management. Tiffany‘s blog column is about the business of the theater industry with special insight into theater management.
Thomas Constantine Moore is a sophomore at Carnegie Mellon University pursing a BFA in Acting. Thomas is blogging about learning the ropes and finding his way in acting and all aspects of the industry.
Sarah Moore is a senior at New York University pursing a BA in Journalism and Dramatic Literature. Sarah is reporting on college theater- related news around the country and navigating the NYC theater scene.
