Visiting Campus

Schedule a Visit

Prospective applicants as well as corporate and/or academic visitors interested in discussing the program and seeing the MII-PS facilities should email us. Requests to meet with MII-PS faculty and/or current students or to attend a class need to be made well in advance and are dependent on availability. Please be sure to include the date(s) of your visit and the best times you are available to meet.

Admitted applicants interested in visiting the program are welcome to schedule an appointment with Emma Zink (as per the instructions above) or attend our "Open House for Admitted Students" usually held in March. Details about the Open House are emailed to all admitted students shortly after their letters are received.

Please note that "drop in" visitors cannot be accommodated and evening and weekend appointments are not available.

Travel & Accommodations

Information regarding transportation to and around Pittsburgh as well as accommodations can be found at Travel & Accomodations - Carnegie Mellon Undergraduate Admission website.

Information regarding on-campus parking locations and rates can be found on the Parking & Transportation Services website.

Tour Campus

Take a real campus walking tour led by students, available at 9:30a, 11:30a, 1:30p and 3:30p Monday through Friday, except during university holidays, semester breaks and finals testing. This is a great way to get an overview of the campus and learn about our history.

Take a virtual campus tour from wherever you are. Choose either the "Guided Tour" or "Walk Your Own Path", both led by students who take you through a variety of buildings on campus as they talk about the history of the Carnegie Mellon, the architecture of each building and the departments they house.
