Young academic researchers make pioneering discoveries in key areas of computer science at Carnegie Mellon University — and it continues to get noticed.
Emma Brunskill, assistant professor at CMU, and Andreas Krause, CMU Ph.D. graduate, are two of seven researchers worldwide to receive a prestigious Microsoft Research Faculty Fellowship this year.

Eric Berryman, a 2011 graduate of Carnegie Mellon University's School of Drama, has received a $50,000 fellowship from The Leonore Annenberg Fellowship Fund for the Performing and Visual Arts.
Praised for providing campus connections and matching the culture and aspirations of the university, Mack Scogin, architect of Carnegie Mellon University's Gates and Hillman centers, accepted the 2012 Honor Award for Architecture from the American Institute of Architects.
