SMART Cards

We are pleased to announce that the Pittsburgh campus will upgrade to SMART Cards in summer and fall 2013. These cards will replace the current CMU ID Card. SMART Cards offer advanced technology that will provide Pittsburgh-campus students, staff and faculty with more efficient access to Port Authority Transit within Allegheny County.

As a result of this transition, eligible students, staff and faculty located on the Pittsburgh campus will need to be re-carded.
