Student Deposits

Students can deposit funds via Student Information Online. 

Those interested in depositing funds into an ID Cardholder's Plaid Ca$h account can do so online using a Visa or Mastercard. 

Other Deposits

Cardholders who do not have access to SIO can deposit funds via the CMU Portal.

To make a deposit in person, visit The HUB in the lower level of Warner Hall. Funds may also be deposited at the Plaid Ca$h kiosk located in Hunt Library near the circulation desk. 

Please make checks payable to Carnegie Mellon University and clearly print "Plaid Ca$h" in the memo field on the check.

Plaid Ca$h Balance

You can view your Plaid Ca$h account balance on your purchase receipts or at the kiosk in Hunt Library. Balances can also be viewed via SIO or the CMU Portal.
