Federal Student Loan Counseling

According to Federal regulations, all Federal Student Loan borrowers are required to attend an entrance counseling session prior to their Federal Student Loan funds being credited to their student accounts, and an exit counseling session prior to graduating or withdrawing from the school they are currently attending. It is important to understand that borrowing loans is a serious commitment. With this interview, we will attempt to answer some of the questions you may have about Federal Student Loans and the responsibilities they entail. In order to meet the loan counseling requirements, you must answer all the questions correctly and complete the the electronic submission form.


This Loan Counseling Session will cover the following information:

Follow the instructions, answer the questions, and complete the appropriate electronic submission form. You will need your driver's license number and contact information for two references to complete the form. We recommend that you print a copy of the "Rights and Responsibilities Checklist".

You may contact The HUB or your lender if you have any questions concerning your student loan. You may also contact the Federal Student Aid Information Center at (800) 4-FED-AID with questions regarding the Federal Stafford Loan or any other form of Federal Aid.


The information contained in the right column of each page in this process includes ACS, our Federal Perkins Loan Servicer and contact information for the Office of Student Finacial Aid Ombusdmen. This office is available to assist you if you have a problem with your loans that you believe has not been fully resolved.
