Summer Pre-College Students
Carnegie Mellon offers a variety of summer pre-college programs for high school students. Students interested in pre-college opportunities in a specific area not listed should contact the appropriate department for more information.
Carnegie Mellon offers a wide variety of courses and programs during the summer for current students trying to stay on track to graduate in four years, visiting students wanting to take a course while they're home for the summer, high school students looking to explore pre-college programs or someone who has an interest in a particular subject with some time on their hands. Summer classes can help students reach their educational goals no matter where they are in their academic career. For detailed information about summer courses and programs at Carnegie Mellon, view the Summer Studies website.
Current faculty and staff interested in taking courses during the summer as a non-degree student should review the Non-Degree Guide and complete the form within the guide. Faculty and staff must also submit a request for tuition remission to their supervisor and have it approved by the department and HR.
