WHAT IS AN ENROLLMENT VERIFICATION?

Enrollment verifications are available only for currently enrolled Carnegie Mellon students and Carnegie Mellon Alumni.

Enrollment verifications are available only to currently enrolled Carnegie Mellon students and Carnegie Mellon Alumni. To be considered enrolled, you must be currently attending classes and you must have fulfilled your financial obligations to the university.

An enrollment verification officially provides proof of your upcoming degree(s) or proof that you are attending the university. The most common reasons for requesting a verification include:

Currently enrolled students may order verifications online on Student Information On-Line.

After your request, verifications are ready for pick up at Enrollment Services in four business days. They are free, but if you have a financial hold or community hold on your account, then your verification request will not be fulfilled. All non-faxed verifications come in individual, sealed envelopes. If you break the seal, we will not reseal the envelope.
