The university requires that all students carry health insurance. If health insurance is not selected on the Sponsor Billing Authorization form, the student will be responsible for paying this charge. If students are already insured, they must submit a waiver to Student Health Services. Waivers are subject to the approval of Student Health Services. Please note that requirements for a waiver are very strict, and not all external insurance policies will meet them. If the waiver is not returned to Student Health Services by September 1, 2012, or is not approved, the university health insurance charge, or a prorated percentage of that amount, will remain on the student account.
